There is no official announcement from the Activision front for the new Call of Duty game. However, details about the game continue to leak. Previously, maps and weapons of the game were leaked. Now, many details of the game, especially the multiplayer mode, have emerged.
In other words, we now know more about the game that is claimed to be Call of Duty: Cold War. Of course, it is not certain whether these news are correct, but I would also like to state that they come from reputable places. The following information was shared by a game publisher called Xclusive Ace. By the way, for those who do not know, Xclusive Ace is considered one of the most reliable sources for Call of Duty games.
Multiplayer details of Call of Duty:
Cold War have leaked Xclusive Ace related to the new game “Call of Duty: Cold War game will be released in the third or fourth quarter of 2020. Therefore, this new Call of Duty game (released in the fourth quarter of every year) will be released earlier than previous games.” made statements. As the publisher has stated, the game is in very good condition right now, and all multiplayer maps are complete.
The single player campaign mode of the game is also fully playable, but there are some animation shortcomings. In addition to the single player, multiplayer and zombie modes, the game will also include Battle Royale and Warzone mode. The publisher is expected to announce the game during Microsoft’s July event. Finally, you can take a look at the leaked details below.
Call of Duty: Cold War Multiplayer Details – Part 1
The game takes place during the Cold War period.
The game is scheduled to be released at the end of the third quarter, like September.
However, one possibility may be the beginning of the fourth quarter (October / early November).
The game is in good condition. Multiplayer maps are almost ready, except for some textures and fixes.
The story mode is fully playable, only some voiceovers and animations are missing.
The game will include single player, multiplayer and zombie mode, as well as Battle Royale and Warzone mode.
The standard minimap is currently in the game. So when you shoot someone quietly, you appear on the enemy minimap.
There is no Fog of War in the game right now.
The compass you will remember from the Modern Warfare series returns.
No creep and bending.
There are floating turns.
Swimming turns mean yes water turns on multiplayer maps.
There is a large lake in the middle of the new Warzone map.
Tactical Sprint WILL NOT RETURN in modern Warfare games, while fast running is unlimited.
Multiplayer maps will not have interactive gates, but Warzone mode will also be found.
Call of Duty: Cold War Multiplayer Details – Part 2
The source now has 10 maps ready, map layouts will often differ from the classic Treyarch map design.
On a map, there is a very small boat in the Black Sea.
Another map called Mall looks like a rather complicated map.
The third map in the middle of the desert with some small cave sections is called Satellite. It looks like the Afghan map in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
The fourth map is called Tank. The smaller, medium-sized and three-lane map looks like it was designed to be competitive.
The fifth map is called Tundra.
The sixth map, KGB, is the size of the Shoothouse map in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare released in 2019.
There are no special abilities, but something similar to Field Upgrades is back. Field Upgrades can be charged twice, but the second charge takes longer. One is a piece of equipment that shoots vehicles and lines, while the other looks like Crash’s ammunition box.
There are regular equipment returns, no longer in a charge timer like in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.
Scorestreaks returns instead of killstreaks. Some Scorestreaks are as follows: Bow, Artillery Strike, Chopper Gunner, Controlled Missile, Death Machine, Flamethrower, Gunship, Grenade Launcher, Hand Cannon, Light Attack Chopper, Napalm Strike, RC-XD, Sentry Gun, Strafing Plane, UAV and Counter UAV
No Dead Silence is currently missing from the game.
Currently, with auto recovery, the health value is 150, and the health bar in the game is returning.
Call of Duty: Cold War Multiplayer Details – Part 3
Weapons include AK5 and SPAS-12 secondary, so Shotguns once again looks secondary.
Classrooming appears as a hybrid of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Pick10 system. Currently there is no Gunsmith in the game, but it may still be something they are working on. Wildcards are required for the fourth perk, overkill, and extra plugins.
The source is not aware of the existence of a Prestige system, but they may have something to apply too late.
The standard multiplayer map is 6 by 6. If it is 2 by 2 Gunfight, it is not currently in the game. However, it is played as 3 by 3.
There are currently no land warfare (32 to 32) maps in the game, but there is a mod available in sections of the new Warzone map.
The new Warzone map is located in Russia. Named places include Mines, Chemical Lab, Weather Station, Ski Slopes, Duga, Zoo and Battery. As mentioned earlier, there is a large lake in the middle (slightly below left). The mountains on the bottom right are snowy and the ski slopes and the weather station are right here. Chemical Lab, which is a swamp area to the north, Mines to the north. To the west of this is Duga, which is based on the radio tower in Chernobyl. Battery is located to the west of the map. There is a small city in the middle of the map. The Zoo is just south of the city. Although the maps may seem lighter, I think they’re a bit smaller than the Warzone map of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
